Dr. Igwe
Rural doctor and teacher
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Maternity Hospital
- Since 1999
- English, Hausa
I've practiced obstetrics at Lagos Maternity Hospital since 1999. I started with a stethoscope and a borrowed desk and ended up knowing most of the town.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. It makes appointments less scary.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Dr. Igwe
The families I get to know are the reason I stay.
Specialties
What gifts mean to Dr. Igwe: I'd use a gift for transport costs for patients who can't afford the trip.
