I've spent 41 years as a lecturer in civil engineering at Newcastle upon Tyne University in Newcastle upon Tyne. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I never raise my voice. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
What gifts mean to Dr. Holmes: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
