I've spent ten years as a lecturer in astronomy at Willow Creek University in Hồ Chí Minh City. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Dr. Hoang
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Hoang: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
