I teach civil engineering at Istanbul Institute of Technology since 1990, and supervised 31 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a waiter and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Dr. Güneş: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
