Dr. Govender
Rural doctor and teacher
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Our Lady of Peace Regional Medical Center
- 1984 to 2021
- English, Afrikaans
I practiced cardiology at Our Lady of Peace Regional Medical Center from 1984 to 2021. I started with a stethoscope and a borrowed desk and ended up knowing most of the town.
I carry a notebook everywhere. It makes appointments less scary.

What gifts mean to Dr. Govender: A gift would go toward medical supplies for my Saturday clinic.
