I've spent 24 years as a lecturer in sociology at Saint-Étienne Polytechnic in Saint-Étienne. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a postal worker and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Dr. Gauthier
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Gauthier: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
