Dr. Franklin

Materials science lecturer, Since 1994

I've spent 32 years as a lecturer in materials science at Austin Institute of Technology in Austin. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. Former students now work as a shop assistant and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.

More about Dr. Franklin

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.

What gifts mean to Dr. Franklin: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
