I've spent 14 years as a lecturer in architecture at Mount Pleasant State University in Kyiv. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I run most mornings.
More about Dr. Filippov
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Filippov: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
