I've spent 30 years as a lecturer in organic chemistry at Westbrook College in Sydney. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Dr. Fields
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Dr. Fields: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
