Dr. Engel

23 years teaching civil engineering at Cologne Institute of Technology

  • 🇩🇪 Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
  • Cologne Institute of Technology
  • Since 1984
  • English, German
I've spent 42 years as a lecturer in civil engineering at Cologne Institute of Technology in Cologne. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm learning the guitar. I'm still learning every day.

More about Dr. Engel

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.

Fields

Civil engineering
What gifts mean to Dr. Engel: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
