I spent nine years as a lecturer in modern history at Elmwood State University in Saint-Denis. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I make terrible puns.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Dr. Durand
If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
What gifts mean to Dr. Durand: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
