I spent 17 years as a lecturer in law at Newcastle upon Tyne Polytechnic in Newcastle upon Tyne. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Dr. Duran: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
