I've spent 40 years as a lecturer in organic chemistry at Willow Creek College in Santos. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a nurse and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Dr. Dias
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Dias: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
