Dr. Desta

Retired education lecturer

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Addis Ababa Polytechnic
  • 2006 to 2025
  • English, Amharic, Spanish
I spent 19 years as a lecturer in education at Addis Ababa Polytechnic in Addis Ababa. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Dr. Desta: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
