Dr. Desta

Anthropology lecturer, 2012 to 2025

  • 🇪🇹 Hawassa, Sidama, Ethiopia
  • Valley View Institute of Technology
  • 2012 to 2025
  • English, Amharic
I spent 13 years as a lecturer in anthropology at Valley View Institute of Technology in Hawassa. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. Former students now work as a clerk and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.

More about Dr. Desta

Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
