I taught marine biology at Winston-Salem University from 1992 to 2008, and supervised 17 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a radio technician and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Dr. Delgado: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
