I teach public health at Guadalupe Institute of Technology since 2002, and supervised 23 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a shop assistant and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Dr. Cruz: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
