I've spent 33 years as a lecturer in organic chemistry at Kilimanjaro Institute of Technology in Kanpur. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a farmhand and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Dr. Chowdhury: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
