Dr. Chen
Professor of linguistics, Toronto University
- 🇨🇦 Toronto, Ontario, Canada
- Toronto University
- Since 1987
- English
My subject is linguistics, and for 39 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Toronto University.
Former students now work as a nurse and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Dr. Chen
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Chen: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
