I've spent eleven years as a lecturer in economics at Hillcrest State University in Swansea. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a nurse and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Dr. Chen
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Chen: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
