Dr. Chávez
Civil engineering lecturer, Since 1983
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Since 1983
- English, Spanish
I've spent 43 years as a lecturer in civil engineering at Los Angeles University in Los Angeles. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I never raise my voice. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Dr. Chávez
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Dr. Chávez: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
