My subject is astronomy, and for nine years I got to share it with undergraduates at Holy Cross State University.
Former students now work as an accountant and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Dr. Chavan
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Dr. Chavan: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
