I teach astronomy at Uberlândia State University since 1983, and supervised 58 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Dr. Cavalcanti
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
