I've spent 43 years as a lecturer in astronomy at Pioneer University in East London. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a clerk and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Dr. Buthelezi
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Buthelezi: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
