Dr. Bisht
Professor of economics, Howrah Polytechnic
- 🇮🇳 Howrah, West Bengal, India
- Howrah Polytechnic
- 1981 to 2019
- English, Hindi
My subject is economics, and for 38 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Howrah Polytechnic.
Former students now work as a night-shift cleaner and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Dr. Bisht: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
