I've spent 22 years as a lecturer in marine biology at Los Angeles Institute of Technology in Los Angeles. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Dr. Aguilar
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.

What gifts mean to Dr. Aguilar: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
