Dr. Afolabi
Rural doctor and teacher
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Liberty Children's Hospital
- 2001 to 2023
- English
I practiced emergency medicine at Liberty Children's Hospital from 2001 to 2023. I started with a stethoscope and a borrowed desk and ended up knowing most of the town.
Home visits were my favorite part, even when the roads weren't.

What gifts mean to Dr. Afolabi: I'd use a gift for transport costs for patients who can't afford the trip.
