Douglas S. Carpenter
Self-taught mural painting artist
- 🇨🇦 Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
- Orchid Studio
- 2008 to 2022
- English
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes watercolor. My first show was in 2008 at Orchid Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I try to remember everyone's name. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Douglas
I've had 9 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Douglas: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
