Douglas M. Palmer
Retired design and technology teacher from St. Petersburg Academy

- St. Petersburg Academy
- 2013 to 2023

St. Petersburg Academy was my second home. I taught design and technology there from 2013 to 2023, mostly teenagers.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Douglas
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Douglas: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
