For 13 years I was the special education teacher at Orchid Academy. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 270 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Doris
If you were in my Year 10 class, you probably remember that terrible school play.
