Doris G. Watkins
Teacher at Rochester Girls' School, loves drama

I taught drama at Rochester Girls' School in Rochester from 2000 to 2019. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 930 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Doris
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
