I've coached hockey at Newcastle Pioneer Swimming Club since 2001. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you played for me, you probably remember the time the class pet escaped.
