I teach environmental science at Tampa Grammar School in Tampa since 1998. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 1,370 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Doris
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
