Dorcas Wanjiru Opio
Mentor in entrepreneurship and small business
- 🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
- Brookfield Association
- 1999 to 2023
- English, Swahili
I'm a mentor in entrepreneurship. I spent my career as an accountant and now give some of that back.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Dorcas
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Dorcas: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
