Dorcas Rose Mollel
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
- Old Ashford Workshop
- 1991 to 2014
- English, Swahili
I'm a painting and decorating specialist. If you live around Mombasa, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 19 years later for another job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Dorcas
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Dorcas: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
