Dorcas Halima Kato

28 years teaching modern history at Acacia Polytechnic

  • 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
  • Acacia Polytechnic
  • 2013 to 2023
  • English, Swahili
My subject is modern history, and for ten years I got to share it with undergraduates at Acacia Polytechnic. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
