Dorcas Atieno Mukasa
History teacher at Mbale Academy, Since 2004
- 🇺🇬 Mbale, Eastern Region, Uganda
- Mbale Academy
- Since 2004
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
What gifts mean to Dorcas: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me history in 2004 at Mbale Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Thank you again.
