My subject is civil engineering, and for nine years I got to share it with undergraduates at St. Anne's State University.
I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Dolores
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Dolores: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
