Dola Shirin Barua

Painter, potter and teacher at Westbrook Studio

  • 🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
  • Westbrook Studio
  • Since 2015
  • English
I got into textiles as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day. Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I garden badly but happily. If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

More about Dola

I've had 7 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Dola: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
