Dola Ishrat Howlader
Master of electrical work, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Dhaka Shop
- 2000 to 2024
- English
My trade is electrical work. I opened my own shop in 2000 in Dhaka and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I make terrible puns.
More about Dola
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Dola: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
