I've worked in baking from 1989 to 1999. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 400 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
