Do-hyun Jung-ho Joo
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇷 Seongnam, Gyeonggi, South Korea
- Maple Ridge Shop
- Since 2002
- Korean, English
My trade is weaving. I opened my own shop in 2002 in Seongnam and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 23 years later for another job.
More about Do-hyun
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Do-hyun: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
