Diya M. Bedi

Painter, potter and teacher at Jalandhar Pottery

  • 🇮🇳 Jalandhar, Punjab, India
  • Jalandhar Pottery
  • 2002 to 2016
  • English, Hindi
I work mostly in embroidery, sometimes glass art. My first show was in 2002 at Jalandhar Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Jalandhar Pottery, which keeps me honest. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Diya: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.

I bought one of your pieces in 2011. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from The Hague.
