Diya E. Sandhu
Woodcarving artist in Cairns
- 🇦🇺 Cairns, Queensland, Australia
- Pioneer Studio
- 1983 to 1991
- English, Hindi
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 1983 at Pioneer Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Pioneer Studio, which keeps me honest.
More about Diya
I've had 6 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Diya: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
