My subject is literature, and for nine years I get to share it with undergraduates at Jacaranda Polytechnic.
Former students now work as a farmhand and in a dozen other fields. It is the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Diya
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
