For eight years I ran the hockey program at Amritsar Parkside Sports Club in Amritsar. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Diya: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
