Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States

I've worked in weaving since 1986. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,680 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Diya: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.

You fixed our roof in 1996 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Karachi.
