Divya M. Jat
Retired early years teacher from Beacon Primary School
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- 2014 to 2024
- English, Hindi
I taught early years at Beacon Primary School in Mumbai from 2014 to 2024. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Divya
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Divya: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
