For 25 years I was the social studies teacher at San Francisco Technical College. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 950 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Divina
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
