Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices

I've worked in thatching from 1985 to 2004. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 970 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
